Rainer Ahrens is a recording engineer, music producer, choir director and singer.
He has experience in a wide variety of music, stage, radio and TV productions.
In his work as a producer and recording engineer he always seeks to capture the artist’s musical intentions, allowing them space to explore their performance and offering his own musical knowledge and input upon request.
His achievements include the production “Hugo Distler – Geistliche Chormusik“ with the Vocalconsort Berlin under the direction of Klaus-Martin Bresgott, which was awarded the „Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik“. In addition, his production with the Athesinus Consort Berlin under Klaus-Martin Bresgott was recognized with the French award „Choc de Classica“.
